Titled The 1970s: Activism: Voices for Change, attendees will have the chance to explore the trends, news, and culture of the decade that brough us an immense oil cerisis, The Mary Tyler Moore Sho, thigh-high boots and disco. With a lineup of esteemed national speakers, historians, authors, local scholars and more, this is the event for history buffs in northern Nevada.

This event is open to the public, and the museum will apply for continuation credit for education licensure from the Nevada Department of Education. (All previous symposiums have received inservice course approval.) For ticket information, consult the museum website.
