The humanities are the essential story of our human existence. Nevada Humanities
helps Nevadans celebrate our living history in an ever-changing world. We
do this by giving grants for community-based humanities projects, by presenting
Chautauqua in Reno, Boulder City and Lake Tahoe, by sponsoring History Day
and Young Chautauqua workshops, organizing the Vegas Valley Book Festival
and in many other ways.
