Nevada Youth Make Their Mark: Sharing Experiences from the Pandemic Year and Looking Forward, includes works selected from an art contest for Nevada youth ages 14 to 24 years old. The exhibition is part of the Nevada95 Initiative, a statewide youth civic engagement initiative powered by the Guinn Center, that seeks to strengthen youth civic engagement and amplify youth voices in decisions that affect them. Participating in the civic process empowers youth to use their voices for positive change.

The contest theme was: Youth Service and Civic Engagement During COVID-19: Finding Connection During the Pandemic. These young artists’ experiences are expressed through visual and graphic arts, poems, essays, videos, audio recordings, photography, performance art, and digital media.
