The Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority’s Las Vegas News Bureau and the Neon Museum have come together to present a new spin on the classic concept “Then and Now” by juxtaposing the brilliant neon signs, as they stand today in the Neon Boneyard, against their vintage images from the News Bureau’s archive. Standing together these images reveal the impact that neon had in Las Vegas from its early days to the present. This innovative look at the history of Las Vegas highlights the origins of the city’s signs and their ever-evolving styles and architecture.
