Nevada Humanities’ Sagebrush to Sandstone programs invite people to explore, learn, and express their experiences in nature though art, writing, and listening. Birds are a vital aspect of our nature that bring beauty, music, and joy across the world. Nevada is part of the Pacific Flyway that many species of birds use to rest and feed during their annual migration as well as the many species that call Nevada home. Our state bird, the Mountain Bluebird, is one of many birds you can discover in our parks, our forests, our deserts, our wetlands, and even in your own backyard.
