The 2025 Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl featured over 120 authors, artists, performers, and panelists in over 40 events across downtown Reno. Participants enjoyed a day of panel discussions, book signings, performances, workshops, and family-friendly activities that celebrate the written word in all of its forms. All events were hosted at local businesses and organizations throughout the California Avenue corridor and Downtown Reno. All events were free and open to all.

Keynote Event:
A Conversation with Willy Vlautin
The 2025 Keynote Event featured Willy Vlautin, author of The Horse and winner of the Joyce Carol Oates Prize. Vlautin discussed his work with former Nevada Poet Laureate Gailmarie Pahmeier during a moderated Q-and-A session. The Keynote Event took place at the Nightingale Sky Room at the Nevada Museum of Art.
