Wonders of Nature: Creative Workshops with Nevada Humanities

Join Nevada Humanities for a series of free creative and nature workshops inspired by the illustrations and themes found in Nevada Reads book World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments by Aimee Nezhukumatathil (although you don’t have to have read the book to participate!). Creative and nature experts from around the state will teach participants how to draw, paint, dye, listen, and explore, using the natural world as inspiration. During these workshops, we will spend time together learning new artistic techniques and thinking more deeply and creatively about the natural world around us. No prior art experience is needed.
