The Show Goes On . . . An Online Celebration of Nevada’s Women Poets and Our Exhibition Series

By Staff of Nevada Humanities

Since we are halfway through Women’s History Month and April’s National Poetry Month will be here soon, we thought it appropriate to celebrate the works of women poets from Nevada. We cannot highlight all of the women poets in the Silver State so we pulled a few poets who have contributed to the Double Down blog. Additionally we have moved our current Nevada Humanities Exhibition Series, “Margaret Are You Grieving,” online, and you can access this stunning exhibition below. Enjoy!

Jennifer Battisi. Bristlecone in Blue

Angela M. Brommel. Mojave in July

Heather Lang-Cassera. After Reckless Abandon

Ann Keniston. Envoy

Joanne Mallari. Halfway to Golden

Gailmarie Pahmeier. Address What Matters
