Meet Jen Nails
12:00–1:00 pm | Nevada Humanities Tent

Nevada Humanities and its Nevada Center for the Book selected two books by Nevada authors to represent Nevada at the 2025 Library of Congress National Book Festival as a part of the Great Reads from Great Places program. Come meet our featured YA author, Jen Nails, at the Nevada Humanities table at the Las Vegas Book Festival on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. During this informal conversation hour, participants will have the chance to create postcards about the things they love most about Nevada and discover how food, family, and place are central to her storytelling, alongside the value and importance of libraries in Nails’ life. This event is free and open to the public.
